Drop-in/short-term child care is defined by law in G.S. 110-86(2)(d)(d1) as a child care arrangement where care is provided while parents participate in activities that are not employment related, and where the parents are on the premises or otherwise easily accessible. Drop-in/short-term care child care would be used by parents who need care while they occasionally run errands or participate in leisure activities. The operation must be able to reach the parent by telephone, cell phone, or pager. The parent must be able to get back to the program within 15 minutes.

"Drop-in childcare provides working parents with the ability to flex their productive hours while their children are entertained safely near their workplace. This service is an
important addition to the Main Street economic development of this community."

Wednesday Story Time Activity

On Wednesday mornings children are invited to join us for an interactive story time, where we use social building books to teach new topics like confidence, sharing, honesty, and acceptance. Our stories are then reinforced with a craft activity and discussion about the topics. Each week its something new so be sure to check it out!

Friday Popcorn and Movie Nights

On Friday Evenings we have the night themed around a chosen children's feature film. After dinner we watch a movie, eat popcorn, and enjoy our night while parents do the same!
